Hadi Tabbal is an actor, theater director, and playwright. He has been involved in play development with The Sundance Theatre Institute (Utah Lab and East Africa Lab), The Lark Play Development Center, Noor Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, The Public Theatre, New Dramatists, and others. Acting credits include Mona Mansour’s The Hour of Feeling (The Humana Festival), Circumstance (Sundance Audience Award), Madam Secretary (CBS), Elementary (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC), House of Cards (Netflix), and Person of Interest (CBS). Directing credits include the New York premiere of Teach for America by Rob Ackerman and the world premiere of After by Mona Mansour and Tala Manassah. Hadi was playwright in residence at Berkeley Rep’s GroundFloor program where he started writing The Remnants, a play in development. Hadi holds a MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. He is adjunct assistant professor of theatre at CUNY York College, a Fulbright scholar, and an artistic associate with the Sundance Theatre institute.
